YOGA STUDIO RENTAL
Yoga and Movement: The space and change rooms have been designed and fully equipped for all forms of yoga and movement classes and workshops.
The studio is on the main floor and is therefore accessible to those with physical limitations and there is also a main floor washroom and kitchenette.
The studio space can easily accommodate 10-15 students on mats. It is an intimate and beautiful space which would serve teachers just beginning their careers as well as seasoned professionals.
Workshops and Presentations: Similarly, our studio space can accommodate up to 25 people for presentations or workshops. We have tables, chairs, wifi, music equipment, as well as the kitchenette, change rooms and washroom.
We are located at 357 Jane Street, north of Bloor in Baby Point Gates and there is free, 2 hour parking out front. We are close to transit, as well as excellent restaurants and cafes.
THERAPY ROOM RENTAL
At talk | touch | move we are often looking for therapists to join our collective. We have several therapy rooms that are available to rent on a part or full time basis. We offer hourly, half day, full or multiple day rentals on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis, depending of course of the practitioners needs and the availability of space.
Holism is one of the central tenets of our shared value system and so we believe there are many roads to healing and health. We consult with one another and integrate our services wherever possibly, depending on our client’s needs.
We have created a home for like-minded professionals from a number of therapeutic vantage points and it is our belief that by supporting one another, we are creating a supportive environment for our clients.
You are welcome to a tour if you are interested.
To offer, under one roof, a fully integrated community of health and wellness specialists.
talk | touch | move is a collective of caring professionals with expertise in the fields of naturopathic medicine, psychotherapy, marriage and family therapy, addictions counselling, somatic psychotherapy, cranial sacral therapy, massage therapy, yoga and yoga therapy and coaching.
Talking, touching and moving are the simple and essential ways in which we share our inner being with those around us. This is how we connect to one another, how we express our joy and our pain. The pathways to our growth and our healing, these are the routes that lead us out of suffering and struggle to find our place in the world with greater vitality and resilience.
We believe it not only ‘takes a village to raise a child’ but that all human beings thrive when held within a circle of community - one that provides guidance, support and a refuge in difficult times. However, we also value a community that appreciates the unique nature of each person’s character, concerns and circumstance.
We provide a flexible, collaborative home for the therapists who work here and we believe that our ability to create a circle of respectful support for each other will translate into the same experience for the clients who seek our help. We embrace our clients as whole human beings, with the same warmth and generosity of spirit with which we try to embrace each other.
In our efforts to offer an interweaving of professional services, each of us as therapists has made a personal commitment to the development of a deep knowledge and expertise in our areas of specialty, as well as our own personal growth as ‘fellow travelers on this road.’
